1 pint bag (2 cups) Ground Beef Mix, thawed
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
6 tablespoons tomato paste
1 1/3 cups tomato juice or water
1 heaping tablespoon Italian seasoning
1/2 to 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste) or minced garlic, optional
1. Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan and heat over medium to medium-high heat until it starts to come to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally
2. Serve with spaghetti cooked according to package directions. (General guideline is to allow 2 to 4 ounces of pasta per person.)
Variations: Add sautéed onions and mushrooms to the sauce.
